Yufash Autumn Winter 20 collection is inspired from one of the toughest and oldest deserts in Africa – the Kalahari. This remote location is inhibited by one of the oldest tribes in the world: the Bushmen. It is their organic attention to craft, pattern, colour and beading – but repurposed for winter – that has captured the designer’s attention this season. AW20 collection captures the resilience, strenght and elegance of this inscrutable landscape’s inhabitants. This 16 piece collection features layered beading inspired by hundreds of years old Bushmen techniques and using recycled glass and plastic beads. This collection speaks loudly about repurposed premium materials and craftsmanship. A stark contrast is presented by the merging of wild patterns developed to dynamic pieces that reflect Yufash’s signature modernity. The combination of long silk metallic dresses, draped to feminine figure and styled with dynamic zebra and leopard hand embellished gloves. An organic strong spirit is evident in waist-gathered coats with wide collars, in homage to the nomad kings and queens of this land. Made for youthful evolving women with bold feminine appeal. They dare to stand out and genuinely care about our environment.
